Madico sputtered films are formed from a base of transparent polyester treated with a process called "sputtering" consisting of the disintegration of metals by ion bombardment. This allows to collect and incorporate into the surface of the film individual atoms emitted by the metal hit. On this is placed a further layer of polyester with a subsequent resistant treatment, to protect it from abrasion and corrosion. Utilizations Madico sputtered films are used where it should be shield solar radiation with a need for greater brightness. The most clear gradations can be used to protect windows shop, museums or homes. They are also ideal for offices, schools, banks, factories, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, public services, stores, museums, showrooms and gymnasiums. |
