Maestro Solar Powered Ventilator

Solar Powered ventilation simply uses a solar panel to produce an electrical current to operate a motor driven fan.

CSR Edmonds solar powered ventilator, called Maestro Solar, uses a BP solar panel (18 V, 0.77amp) to operate a powerful DC motor and fan.

The solar panel is attached separately to the tiles or metal sheeting and the power supply connected to the fan unit. 
 
Heat Relief When Its Needed
 
In the early morning, the solar panel commences to activate the motor and fan, thereby reducing heat before the temperature rises. As the day progresses, the fan rotation rate increases in proportion to the solar intensity of the sun.

So as the sun becomes more intense on the solar panel, the rate of removal of hot air increases. Conversely, the ventilation rate is minimised when the intensity of the sun is lowest.
