Fixed Grid Connected System
Solar Panels are installed on fixed supports facing south. These feed the inverter and its output is connected to the Enemalta Grid Supply. The energy generated is either consumed or sold to Enemalta. Government subsidizes part of the installation costs.

Auto Tracking Grid Connected System
The solar panels are installed on specially designed supports that automatically track the movement of the sun from dawn till dusk. The output of the system is increased by more than 30%.

Any PV plant can be monitored via a pc from anywhere through various communications accessories. Other sensors such as anemometers can be connected too.
